Getting Started Knitting Socks - Part 8 - Toe

The Toe is decreased from the full circumference of the Foot, to being closed with the Kitchener Stitch. The rounds are started at the center of the Heel.

Round 1:
Needle 1: K to last 3 sts, k2tog, k1
Needle 2: k1, ssk, k to end of needle
Needle 3: K to last 3 sts, k2tog, k1
Needle 4: k1, ssk, k to end of needle

Round 2:
Knit

Rep Rnds 1 and 2 until 24 sts rem. (6 on each needle)

Rep Rnd 1 ONLY until 8 sts rem.

Knit sts from Needle 1 onto Needle 4.
Slip sts from Needle 2 onto Needle 3.







4 sts each on 2 needles.

Cut yarn, leaving an 18 inch tail.
Using Kitchener Stitch, graft sts together.

Weave in loose ends.
Both socks together.
